Political Correctness or Political Insanity?

Filling out medical forms for one of my children at urgent care. The form asks for “Mother’s name” and “Mother’s sex”, then “Father’s name” and “Father’s sex”. Such PC ridiculousness makes me angry! Among humans a mother is a female and a father is a male. Claim either one of each or two of one type. Do not conflate the sexes!
